Tingkat Konsumsi Beras dan Pangan Lokal di Desa Masihulan, Kecamatan Wahai, Kabupaten Maluku Tengah
Abstract
Local foods refer to foods that is produced and developed according to the potential of the Maluku region. This study aims to determine the level of food consumption in Masihulan Village, Wahai District, Central Maluku Regency. The populations were 110, and the study involved 32 respondents selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data collected in this research consisted of primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through observation and interviews using a structured questionnaire, while secondary data were gathered from references such as articles, journals, and theses. The results of the study indicate that food consumption in Masihulan Village tends to rely more on local food. This is evident from the average monthly consumption level, where local food reached 87.65 kg/month compared to rice consumption at 23.90 kg/month.
