Evaluasi Status Kesuburan Tanah Pada Lahan Budidaya Tanaman Cabai (Capsicum Annum L.) Di Kelurahan Aimas Kabupaten Sorong
Abstract
Penurunan kesuburan tanah pada lahan budidaya tanaman telah menjadi permasalahan yang harus diperhatikan. Sebagai upaya merehabilitasi lahan-lahan tersebut maka sangat perlu dilakukan sesuai dengan tindakan yang tepat. Salah satu cara adalah dengan mengevaluasi kesuburan tanah dengan melihat bagaimana karakteristik kimia tanah dari lahan-lahan yang telah dikelola secara intensif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik kimia tanah dan status kesuburan tanah pada lahan pertanian di Kelurahan Aimas Distrik Aimas Kabupaten Sorong. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei dan pengambilan sampel tanah yang dilakukan secara purposive sampling yang dikompositkan, dikeringanginkan dan dilakukan analisis kimia tanah di laboratorium. Hasil penelitian pada karakteristik kimia tanah menunjukkan Nilai pH tanah 5.0-5.2 dengan status masam, C-organik 1.42-1.67% (Rendah), Nitrogen Total 0.13-0.15% (rendah), P2O5 dengan nilai 283-400 mg/100g (Sangat Tinggi), P tersedia 36.2-126.6 ppm (Sangat Tinggi), Kation basa dapat tukar Ca2+, Mg2+, K+, Na+ yaitu 7.19-8.13 cmol/kg (Sedang), 3.22-3.93 cmol/kg (Tinggi), 0.17-0.30 cmol/kg (Rendah), 0.08-0.22 cmol/kg (Sangat rendah), KTK 14.66cmol/kg (Sangat Rendah) dan 21.98 cmol/kg (Sedang), KB 57-73 % (Sangat Tinggi). Status kesuburan tanah pada lahan pertanian di Kelurahan Aimas Distrik Aimas Kabupaten Sorong mempunyai status kesuburan rendah sehingga diperlukan tindakan pengelolaan untuk meningkatkan kesuburan tanah..
