Keragaman Morfologi Plasma Nutfah Talas (Colocasia esculenta L.) dan Keladi (Xanthosoma sagittifolium) di Kecamatan Waplau dan Air Buaya
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keragaman morfologi plasma nutfah tanaman jenis talas dan keladi di Kecamatan Waplau dan Air Buaya berdasarkan karakter morfologinya. Deskriptor tanaman Talas dan Keladi digunakan merujuk pada descriptors for taro (Colocasia esculenta L) dari International Plant Genetic Resources Institute, Rome, Italy dan IPGRI. 1999 dan descriptors for Xanthosoma dari International Board for Plant Genetic Resources, Rome tahun 1989. Di Kecamatan Waplau ditemukan 2 aksesi tanaman talas jenis Colocasia esculenta L yang memiliki keragaman berdasarkan karakter morfologinya, sedangkan di Kecamatan Air Buaya ditemui 4 aksesi tanaman keladi jenis Xanthosoma sagittifolium yang juga menunjukan keragaman pada karakter morfologinya. Terdapat 3 cluster dari jenis xanthosoma yakni cluster I aksesi gifut Air Buaya, cluster II aksesi gifut Namsina dan Waipure dan cluster III aksesi gifut Bara.
