Perbedaan Pertumbuhan Tanaman Sawi (Brassica juncea L.) Akibat Pemberian Berbagai Dosis Kompos Daun Trembesi dan Bacillus subtilis
Abstract
Produksi akan sawi hijau di Indoensia selalu mengalami peningkatan setiap tahunnya, hal ini menandakan permintaan akan sawi hijau meningkat setiap tahunnya hal ini dapat memicu budidaya pertanian yang intensif tanpa penerapan konservasi tanah yang baik. Selain itu, budidaya tanaman sawi kerap kali dilakukan di areal lahan miring yang rentan terhadap erosi. Hal tersebut dapat merusak sifat fisika, biologi, dan kimia tanah. Solusi dari permasalah tersebut salah satunya ialah pengaplikasian bahan organik berupa kompos daun trembesi dan bakteri Bacillus subtilis. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis pengaruh beberapa taraf dosis kompos daun trembesi dan Bacillus subtilis terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman sawi khususnya tinggi tanaman.Penelitian dilaksanakan di Rumah Kaca, Kebun Percobaan Ciparanje, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Padjadjaran dan Laboratorium Biologi Tanah Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Padjadjaran pada bulan Mei hingga Agustus 2024. Rancangan percobaan yang dilakukan yaitu Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) pola Faktorial dengan dua faktor yang terdiri masing-masing tiga perlakuan dalam tiga kali ulangan. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara kompos daun trembesi dan Bacillus subtilis terhadap tinggi tanaman sawi, namun pemberian aplikasi dosis kompos daun trembesi 20 ton ha-1 dan 25 ton ha-1 berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan bobot segar sawi. Sedangkan, pemberian dosis Bacillus subtilis tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan bobot segar sawi.
