ESTIMASI UMUR DAN PREDIKSI PERILAKU KELELAHAN POROS BALING-BALING KAPAL LCT ANDROS
Abstract
Poros baling-baling kapal LCT Andros telah direkondisi setelah mengalami keausan. Teknik untuk merekondisi poros melalui tahapan pengelasan dan pembubutan pada area yang mengalami keausan. Teknik pengelasan MMA (Manual Metal Arc) dapat menimbulkan konsentrasi energi spasial yang menghasilkan input panas yang cukup besar dapat menyebabkan distorsi, pengenceran yang signifikan pada zona yang terkena panas dan secara umum terjadi degradasi bahan dasar. Dengan mempertimbangkan risiko dari teknik pengelasan, maka pihak kapal harus memikirkan risiko kegagalan kelelahan pada poros baling-baling yang sudah direkondisi. Dengan demikian kondisi poros harus dapat diprediksi setelah direkondisi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengestimasi umur dan prediksi perilaku kelelahan poros baling-baling kapal LCT Andros dimana estimasi umur poros diperoleh dari perhitungan teoritis dan prediksi kelelahan melalui simulasi numerik.
