Analisis Aksesibilitas Transportasi untuk Menunjang Pengembangan Sektor Pariwisata di Kota Ambon

Abstract

The city of Ambon is known to have beautiful natural panoramas and attractive and potential tourist attractions (odtw). This makes Ambon City increasingly developed, especially in the tourism sector. there are 5 important objects that have tourism potential which are very potential to be developed and have a significant tourist attraction, namely the tourist objects of Hukurila Beach, Namsua Beach, Namalatu Beach, Gong Pedunian Dunia, and Paragliding Hill. One of the important factors influencing tourists to visit tourist objects is accessibility to these tourist objects. This study aims to analyze the level of accessibility of the transportation network to tourist objects and determine the direction of development of these tourist objects. The research method is descriptive and statistical, with a research sample of 30 respondents who were surveyed at each tourist object studied. The research variables are road conditions, means of transportation, distance travelled, travel time and transportation costs. Data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis techniques and scoring analysis. The results of the research show that this research is not only based on a qualitative perspective but also compared with the real conditions of quantitative calculations in the field. Where accessibility to the Namalatu Beach and Gong Peace Beach attractions is included in the high or very supportive accessibility category, then the Hukurila Beach tourist attraction is in the medium or supportive accessibility category and the Namsua Beach and Paragliding Hill attractions are in the low or unsupportive accessibility category. While the direction of developing tourist objects is directed at increasing facilities and infrastructure supporting transportation accessibility based on the Ambon City RIPPAR 2021-2026, namely increasing modes of transportation and improving road networks that are not available to reach tourist attractions.
