Analisis Efisiensi Penggunaan Tenaga Kerja Pada Peternakan Ayam Broiler Dengan Pola Kemitraan di Kecamatan Leitimur Selatan, Kota Ambon
Abstract
This study aimed to analyze labor efficiency and the factors affecting it in broiler chicken farming under a partnership scheme in Leitimur Selatan District, Ambon City. This study employed a quantitative descriptive approach using a survey method and involved 10 broiler farmers selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, field observations, and documentation. Labor efficiency was assessed based on productivity efficiency, working time efficiency, and labor cost efficiency, while the determinants of labor efficiency were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that labor utilization in partnership-based broiler farms was relatively efficient. The average productivity efficiency was 147.50 ± 47.80%, working time efficiency was 118 ± 9.53%, and the proportion of labor costs was 20.82 ± 7.32%. Regression analysis revealed that farming experience, education level, farm scale, number of workers, and labor costs significantly affected labor efficiency (p<0.05), whereas farmer age had no significant effect (p>0.05). Farm scale was identified as the most dominant factor influencing labor efficiency. Improving labor efficiency can be achieved through enhancing farmers’ capacity, optimizing labor utilization according to farm needs, and strengthening technical assistance provided by partner companies.
