Moral Values Analysis on Lampung Children Storybooks

Abstract

Moral values ​​in the formation of students' character become a benchmark that is echoed by society. Students' moral learning is carried out to form moral behavior, especially in elementary school age children. The aim of this research is to analyze the moral values ​​in children's stories published by the language office. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data source for this research is children's stories published by the Lampung Provincial Language Office. This research uses heuristic analysis techniques and riffatere hermeneutics which are used to analyze data descriptively and in depth in order to find moral values ​​in children's stories. The results of this research show that children's stories from the Bandar Lampung Language Center Office contain moral values, namely helpfulness, compassion, caring, responsibility, sociability, and mutual respect.
