Abstract

Nyeri kepala merupakan salah satu keluhan paling umum yang ditemui di bidang kedokteran dan neurologi. Kunci manajemen yang efektif dari sindrom ini adalah diagnosis melalui riwayat penyakit, pemeriksaan fisik, dan studi diagnostik bila diperlukan. Penting untuk menentukan apakah nyeri kepala adalah gejala sekunder dari proses penyakit lain atau kondisi primer. Review ini membahas diagnosis dan klasifikasi gangguan nyeri kepala dan prinsip-prinsip manajemen yang terkini. Tujuan dari manajemen nyeri kepala adalah agar pasien dan profesional perawatan kesehatan bekerja sama untuk meminimalkan rasa nyeri dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup.
