CERIA (CEGAH SARIAWAN, CEGAH EKSTRAVASASI, RELAKSASI OTOT POGRESIF, CEGAH INFEKSI, AKUPRESURE) SEBAGAI UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS HIDUP ANAK KANKER YANG MENJALANI KEMOTERAPI
Abstract
Kanker merupakan salah satu penyebab kematian pada anak. Salah satu tindakan yang paling sering diberikan sebagai penanganan kasus kanker yaitu kemoterapi. Akan tetapi, kemoterapi tidak hanya mematikan sel kanker tetapi juga sel lainnya sehingga memberikan efek samping yang dapat menurunkan kualitas hidup anak. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui pengaruh edukasi manajemen efek kemoterapi dengan CERIA terhadap pengetahuan keluarga dan penurunan kejadian efek kemoterapi. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional untuk melihat pengaruh edukasi terhadap pengetahuan keluarga, dan mengunakan penelitian deskriptif dengan studi kasus untuk melihat dampak edukasi kejadian efek kemoterapi yang dilakukan pada 30 responden yang mendapatkan kemoterapi di Ruang Perawatan Anak Non-Infeksi RSUPN Dr Cipto Mangunkusumo. Hasil uji statistik pada penelitian ini didapati bahwa ada perbedaan yang bermakna antara rerata skor pengetahuan sebelum dan setelah diberikan edukasi dengan nilai p=0,0001; α = 0,05), hasil observasi menunjukka tidak terjadi pemnambahan kejadian stomatitis, tidak terjadi ekstravasasi, tidak terjadi penambahan kasus nyeri bahkan nyeri yang dialami anak berkurang, tidak terjadi infeksi dan terdapat peningkatan kepatuhan dalam mencuci tangan dan menggunakan masker, serta tidak bertambah kasus anak mual bahkan perasaan mual anak berkurang.
