Sengketa Lahan Dalam Pengelolan Perkebunan Pisang Abaka
Abstract
Available land can be utilized to process agricultural produce, and the output could meet the Indonesian population's basic food needs. A paradox exists in Indonesia: despite possessing vast agricultural areas and fertile soil, the country cannot yet satisfy its people's basic food requirements, forcing it to import food from other nations. This import dependency stems from the fact that the management and processing of agricultural products particularly staple foods have not been optimized; consequently, Indonesia remains reliant on other countries to meet its food needs. Another contributing factor is the generally low level of education among Indonesian farmers, which impacts agricultural productivity. Given Indonesia's abundant natural wealth, the country ought to be an exporter of its natural resources. Land is inextricably linked to human life; indeed, Article 33, Paragraph (3) of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia (hereinafter referred to as UUD NRI 1945) which is closely tied to individual welfare and development within both social and familial contexts recognizes land as holding immense value and fundamental significance, stipulating that the earth, water, and natural resources contained therein are controlled by the state and utilized for the greatest possible prosperity of the people.
