PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN TEKNOLOGI GURU SEKOLAH DASAR MELALUI PELATIHAN PENGGUNAAN MICROSOFT OFFICE

Abstract

The world of education is currently starting to integrate technology in various aspects including learning. One application of information technology that is widely used by the public is the Microsoft Office application. Understanding and mastery of this application is a basic ability that every individual must have today. especially in schools where there is still minimal knowledge regarding information technology, as is the case with the teachers at Waimahu Christian Elementary School 1 while they teach at school. However, the use of Microsoft Office has not been maximized by teachers at Waimahu Christian Elementary School 1. They have not been able to maximize the use of Microsoft Office properly in work such as writing questions, calculating grades and making interesting presentations when teaching. Therefore, teachers are provided with training that focuses on using Microsoft Office as a medium to assist in the teaching process and can also present to students so that students can receive lessons well and smoothly. The use of information and communication technology can increase the success of the teaching and learning process. The aim and implementation of this training is to improve teachers' understanding and skills about the features provided by Microsoft Office.
