BIMBINGAN BELAJAR MEMBACA PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR DI DESA SERMAF, KECAMATAN PULAU-PULAU KUR, KOTA TUAL, MALUKU TENGGARA

Abstract

The ability to read is the most important thing for everyone to have. By reading we can further increase our knowledge. So that the ability to read is something that needs to be instilled since childhood, especially at the age of elementary school children. Having the ability to read can increase children's knowledge related to materials taught at school and outside school. The ability to read can also motivate a person to learn. But what if there are elementary school students who are still unable to read? This happened to several students at the elementary school in Sermaf Village. From this problem, the author conducted Reading Tutoring for several elementary school students which was carried out in one of the teachers' housing. The tutoring aims to improve students' reading skills and can encourage student motivation to learn. The method used is by doing tutoring with reading exercises for each child and guidance in understanding school assignments. After conducting reading tutoring, the results of the guidance proved that the level of reading ability and learning motivation of elementary school students in Sermaf Village increased.
