SOSIALISASI DAN PEMBUATAN PUPUK ORGANIK JAMUR TRICHODERMA TERHADAP PETANI DI DESA RUMAH TIGA

Abstract

Community Service (Kuliah Kerja Nyata or KKN) is a community engagement program that is an integral part of the university curriculum in Indonesia, including at Pattimura University. This program aims to integrate higher education with the surrounding community, allowing students to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during their lectures in real-life contexts. KKN took place on November 13th in Rumah Tiga Village, with a focus on addressing the common use of chemical fertilizers among farmers. The work program specifically centered on the production of Trichoderma mushrooms to aid in the decomposition of organic materials in the soil. This enhances the availability of beneficial organic matter for plant growth. Utilizing Trichoderma fungi as a natural biological control helps reduce the reliance on chemical pesticides that can harm the environment, soil, and water.
