THE INFLUENCE OF USING STEM-BASED LKPD ON CRITICAL THINHKING SKILLS IN THE IPAS LEARNING OF IV GRADE ELEMNTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS
Abstract
The problem in this research is the low critical thinking skills of the fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 5 Metro Pusat. This study aims to determine the effect of using STEM-based LKPD on students' critical thinking skills and the difference in students' critical thinking skills in IPAS learning between the experimental class and the control class. The type of research uses quantitative research with a quasi-experimental method and a non-equivalent control group design. The population and sample in this study were obtained through purposive sampling techniques with a sample size of 54 students. Data were analyzed using simple regression and T-test. The research results show that there is an influence of using STEM-based LKPD on critical thinking skills in IPAS learning, and there is a difference in critical thinking skills in IPAS learning between the experimental class and the control class of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 5 Metro Pusat for the 2024/2025 academic year.
