Peer Review Process
All manuscripts are first reviewed by an editor. It will be evaluated by the editor whether it is suitable for the focus and scope of German für Gesellschaft (J-Gefüge). All manuscripts must be original in their content. Plagiarism detection of articles in this journal is carried out by using Turnitin and Mendeley as a Tool Reference Manager.
The submitted manuscript will be reviewed by at least two reviewers (peer-reviewers) and the authors are subject to blind-peer review whose identities will remain anonymous. The peer review process will be done after the initial screening by the consulting editors of the editorial board.
The publication, amendment, or rejection decision is based upon their reports/recommendation. After being reviewed, there will be four kinds of editor decision based on the reviewers' recommendation:
- Accept Submission: The submission will be accepted without revisions.
- Revisions Required: The submission will be accepted after minor changes have been made.
- Resubmit for Review: The submission needs to be re-worked, but with significant changes, may be accepted. It will require a second round of review, however.
- Decline Submissions: The submission will not be published in the journal.
The suggested decision will be evaluated in an editorial board meeting. Afterward, the editor will send the final decision to the corresponding author.
The articles sent back to the authors for revision should be returned to the editor without delay. The revised article returned no more than 30 days. The revised article can be sent to editorial through the Online Submission Interface (OJS system). The language used in this journal is English or Bahasa.
