Improving the Ability to Write Expository Paragraphs Using the Think, Talk, Write (TTW) Method for Class XI Students at SMA Negeri 14 Ambon
Abstract
The issue at hand is that students struggle to compose expository paragraphs effectively due to insufficient engagement with writing education components. This study aims to enhance the proficiency in composing expository paragraphs through the Think, Talk, Write (TTW) approach for students in class X1 at SMA Negeri 14 Ambon. This paper employs the method of classroom action research. The employed data collection methods include interviews, observation, assignments, and questionnaires. The data analysis methodology has three essential elements: data reduction, data visualization, and conclusion formulation. The findings of this study demonstrate that the majority of students in class X1 at State Senior High School 14 Ambon are proficient in writing expository paragraphs and have fulfilled the Minimum Completion Criteria criteria
