Focus and Scope

Agrinimal Jurnal Ilmu Ternak dan Tanaman encompasses a broad range of research topics in animal sciences: breeding and genetics, reproduction and physiology, biotechnology, animal conservation, animal nutrition, feed sciences, agrostology, livestock farming system,  animal production system, animal behavior and welfare, animal health and veterinary, animal products, animal waste, socio-economic, and policy.

Peer Review Process

 The research article submitted to this online journal will be peer-reviewed at least 2 (two) reviewers. Agrinimal Jurnal Ilmu Ternak dan Tanaman is applying the double blind peer-review process. The peer-review process will take 14 regular days. The accepted research articles will be available online following the journal peer-reviewing process. The journal is published in 2 times a year. Peer reviewers are external experts chosen by editors to provide written opinions, with the aim of improving the study. The action of peer review following terms: (1) Suggestion from authors as to who might act as reviewers are often useful, but there should be no obligation on editors to use those suggested. (2) The duty of confidentiality in the assessment of a manuscript must be maintained by expert reviewers and this extends to reviewer’s colleagues who may be asked (with the editor’s permission) to give opinions on specific sections. (3) Reviewers and editors should not make any use of the data, arguments, or interpretations unless they have the author’s permission. (4) Reviewers should provide speedy, accurate, courteous, unbiased and justifiable reports. (5) If reviewers suspect misconduct, they should write in confidence to the editor. (6) Journals should publish accurate descriptions of their peer review, selection, and appeals processes. And (7) Journals should also provide regular audits of their acceptance rates and publication times.

 

Publication Frequency

Agrinimal Jurnal Ilmu Ternak dan Tanaman published in a single volume every year. Each volume consists of two issues, normally published in April and October.

 

Open Access Policy

Agrinimal Jurnal Ilmu Ternak dan Tanaman provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

Agrinimal Jurnal Ilmu Ternak dan Tanaman utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.

 

Plagiarism Check

Every submitted article will be check using turnitin system for plagiarism checking.

 

References Management

Every article submitted to Agrinimal Jurnal Ilmu Ternak dan Tanaman shall use reference management application e.g. Mendeley.
