EFEKTIVITAS FERMENTASI DAUN BINAHONG (Anredera cordifolia) TERHADAP PERFORMA PRODUKSI BROILER
EFFECTIVENESS OF BINAHONG LEAF FERMENTATION (Anredera cordifolia) ON BROILER PRODUCTION PERFORMANCE
Abstract
Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas fermentasi daun binahong terhadap produktivitas broiler. Sebanyak 200 ekor broiler sebagai sampel percobaan dipelihara selama 28 hari. Eksperimen menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan, dengan perlakuan yang diberikan yaitu pemberian fermentasi daun binahong dalam pakan broiler pada level 0%, 5%, 10%, dan 15%. Variabel yang diamati meliputi konsumsi pakan, pertambahan berat badan, konversi pakan, dan panjang usus broiler. Analisis data menggunakan anova dan uji lanjut Duncan Multiple Range Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan fermentasi daun binahong secara signifikan (p<0,05) meningkatkan PBB, indeks performa, panjang usus, dan menurunkan FCR broiler. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian fermentasi daun binahong hingga level 15% menghasilkan rata-rata konsumsi pakan 2,07±0,09 kg, pertambahan berat badan 1,54±0,06 kg, konversi ransum 1,34±0,04, indeks performans 416±22,90, dan panjang usus 180±9,35 cm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fermentasi daun binahong memberikan manfaat positif pada produktivitas broiler. Fermentasi daun binahong dapat diberikan hingga 15% dengan level optimal 10%.
ABSTRACT
The study aimed to determine the effectiveness of binahong leaf fermentation on broiler productivity. A total of 200 broilers as experimental samples were maintained for 28 days. The experiment used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replications, with the treatments given being the provision of binahong leaf fermentation in broiler feed at levels of 0%, 5%, 10%, and 15%. Observed variables included feed consumption, body weight gain, feed conversion, and broiler intestinal length. Data analysis used ANOVA and further the Duncan Multiple Range Test. The results of the study found that binahong leaf fermentation significantly (P <0.05) increased PBB, performance short, intestinal length, and reduced broiler FCR. The results of the study showed that giving fermented binahong leaves up to 15% resulted in an average feed consumption of 2.07±0.09 kg, body weight gain of 1.54±0.06 kg, ration conversion of 1.34±0.04, performance index of 416±22.90, and intestine length of 180±9.35 cm. The results showed that fermented binahong leaves provided positive benefits on broiler productivity. Fermented binahong leaves can be given up to 15%, with an optimal level of 10%.
