Jurnal Bimbingan dan Konseling Terapan (ISSN: 2549-9092) is a peer-reviewed academic journal providing a platform for the publication of high-quality articles in the fields of guidance and counseling, education, and psychology. The journal welcomes articles that contribute to the development of theory, practice, and policy in these disciplines. It is published by Universitas Pattimura in collaboration with Asosiasi Bimbingan dan Konseling Indonesia (ABKIN). JBKT has been regularly issued twice a year (January and July) since 2017.

Starting from Volume 9, Issue 1 in 2025, the journal has transitioned from its previous platform at https://ojs.unpatti.ac.id/index.php/bkt to a new platform at https://ojs3.unpatti.ac.id/index.php/bkt/.

The journal is accredited as Sinta 4 by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (177/E/KPT/2024). It is also indexed in DOAJ, CrossRef, Dimensions, Copernicus, Google Scholar, OpenAlex, Zeitschriftendatenbank, BASE, and Wikidata, ensuring broader dissemination and accessibility of its articles to the global academic community.
