Article Processing Charges

In an open-access publication model, the costs of publishing an article are covered by the author's research budget or the supporting institution through Article Processing Charges (APCs). These charges replace traditional subscription fees and allow publishers to make the full text of every published article freely available to all interested readers. Just to let you know, no fees are charged for the submission of articles.

The Baileo: Jurnal Sosial Humaniora employs an open-access publication model and requires authors to pay an APC of IDR 750,000 for authors based in Indonesia, and USD 100 for international authors. For manuscripts with both Indonesian and international authors, the APC is determined based on the affiliation of the first author. This fee enables the journal to cover the costs associated with editing, production, and dissemination of the article while ensuring that readers worldwide can access the published work free of charge.

The APC fees charged by the Baileo: Jurnal Sosial Humaniora are carefully assessed to ensure that they are reasonable and competitive with those charged by other scholarly journals in the field. Furthermore, the journal is committed to transparency in its fee structure and does not impose additional charges for color illustrations or other publication services.
