Baileo: Jurnal Sosial Humaniora has published Volume 2 Issue 1 Edition on August 19, 2024. This English journal features ten articles authored by 27 contributors from 3 countries; Indonesia, India, and Saudi Arabia. All articles are accessible online, exploring strategic issues within social, cultural, educational, and public policy domains through an interdisciplinary approach. Opening the collection is an examination of the transformation of local traditions into mediums for cultural preservation and tourism, followed by discussions on expressions of femininity in public spaces and the challenges of toxic masculinity. Other articles delve into intergenerational communication in migrant families in the digital era, adaptive approaches in primary education digitalization in Maluku, and synergy between local governments and economic institutions for inflation control. The journal also highlights the integration of local wisdom with modern policies through the role of traditional village governance, a policy analysis of vocational education in India, and dropout prevention efforts in Maluku through the synergy of family, school, and customary values.
