JURNAL BUDIDAYA PERTANIAN (Journal of Agriculture) first published in 2005 by the Department of Agriculture, Faculty of Agriculture, Pattimura University. Since the proposed of E-ISSN in 2019 the journal publisher has been changed to Pattimura University. Jurnal Budidaya Pertanian is an official publication of the Agriculture Faculty, Pattimura University, publishes primary research paper, review article, policy analysis, and research notes and preliminary results in all areas of agronomy. JURNAL BUDIDAYA PERTANIAN is published twice a year, i.e. in July and December. Starting from 2020, the JURNAL BUDIDAYA PERTANIAN is published in June and December.

JURNAL BUDIDAYA PERTANIAN has been nationally accredited at Level 4 (SINTA 4) since December 2017, based on the Direktur Jenderal Penguatan Riset dan Pengembangan, Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi, Republik Indonesia, Decree No. : 14/E/KPT/2019. To improve the ranking of the SINTA accreditation, several improvements have been made in the business process of publishing journals and on February 3, 2020, the first reaccreditation was carried out. Journal reaccreditation result are Level 3 (SINTA 3) since December 2019, based on the Direktur Pengelolaan Kekayaan Intelektual, Kementerian Riset dan Teknologi/Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional, Decree No. : 85/M/KPT/2020.
