Abstract

Commonly Collagen is applied in cosmetics. Collagen in the cosmetic field can use for skin care as an anti-aging and moisturizing skin. Cream or lotion is a moisturizer to support moisture and water resistance in the skin layer so that it can soften and maintain skin smoothness. The study aimed to determine chemical, physical, and organoleptic characteristics of skin creams with collagen addition. The method used in this research was an experimental method with  four treatments, 0%; 10%; 15%; 20% collagen added. The results showed that skin cream with 15% collagen added had the best value than other treatments for chemical, physical, and organoleptic parameters.
