Faktor-Faktor Yang Berhubungan Dengan Kejadian Kematian Neonatal di RSUD Dr. M. Haulussy Ambon Periode Januari 2017-April 2019
Abstract
Neonatal mortality occursduring the first 28 days of life after the baby was born. The condition of the baby outside the womb is very dependent on the state of the baby before birth. There are factorsthat influence neonatal mortality such as maternal and infant factors. This study aims to determine the factor associated with the incidence of neonatal mortality in Dr. M. Haulussy Ambon from January 2017-April 2019. This research is an observational analytic study with case control approach. Thereare 348 samples collectedusing total sampling techniques on the case group and simple random sampling on the control group. All data is taken from medical records. Chi-Square test is used to analyze the variables, which are maternal age, parity, pregnancy complications, distance to RSUD Dr. M. Haulussy, asphyxia and low birth weight. The results of this study indicate that neonatal mortality is related to maternal age (p = 0.001), parity (p = 0.006), pregnancy complications (p = 0,000),distance to RSUD Dr. M. Haulussy (p = 0.037), asphyxia (p = 0,000) and low birth weight (p = 0,000).
