PATTIMURA Legal Journal (PELA) is a peer-reviewed journal, media managed and published by Postgraduate Program Docktoral in Law, Universitas Pattimura. Three a year in April, August, and December. The purpose of this journal is to provide a place for academics, researchers and practitioners to publish original research articles or review articles. This journal provides direct open access to its content based on the principle that making research freely available to the public support greater global knowledge exchange. PATTIMURA Legal Journal is available in online versions. Language used in this journal is Indonesia or English.

PATTIMURA Legal Journal has been accredited by Director General of Research and Development of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025  (SINTA 4), Valid from Volume 1 Issue 1, 2022 until Volume 5 Issue 2, 2026.

PATTIMURA Legal Journal starting from the April 2026 edition, the change in focus and scope is specifically to accept articles that focus on Political Legal issues.
