Current Issue
The January 2026 edition of Baileo: Jurnal Sosial Humaniora (Vol. 3 Issue 2) presents 17 interdisciplinary articles examining social, economic, legal, and governance issues within national and global contexts. This issue brings together contributions from scholars in Indonesia and South Africa, reflecting both strong local grounding and expanding international perspectives. The articles address key themes such as agrarian and commodity economies, socio-legal reform, institutional governance, food security, infrastructure and regional inequality, safety culture in high-risk industries, and social policy implementation in urban and peripheral settings. Several studies highlight the interaction between market forces, regulation, and social trust across sectors including agriculture, energy, mining, and finance. International contributions from South Africa enrich this edition through analyses of workplace well-being and LGBTQIA student safety, broadening comparative discussions on inclusion and social justice. Overall, this issue reaffirms Baileo’s commitment to critical, interdisciplinary scholarship that bridges local realities and global debates in the social humanities.
