PUBLISHING ETHICAL STATEMENT

Publication ethics is a principle that must be obeyed by writers who are going to publish their scientific works in publication media. The basic norms in publishing are prioritizing moral, scientific integrity, and the honesty of the writer.

The code of ethics that must be fulfilled by writers who will publish their scientific articles in the Cita Ekonomika Journal are as follows:

1. Authors must uphold scientific conduct in understanding the benefits/advantages, and risks of published papers.


2. The author must present an accurate paper/article on the research conducted and present an objective discussion of the significance of the research. The research data must be presented accurately in the article. An article must be detailed enough with sufficient references to allow others to replicate the work. Fraud or inaccurate presentation of articles is unethical and unacceptable behavior.


3. Published articles are free from fiction, data falsification, and plagiarism/auto plagiarism.
Authors must include an adequate citation (source) in all statements, ideas, data, which are not the results of their research.


4. Authors must mention publications that were influential in the preparation of their work. Information obtained privately, such as in conversations, correspondence, or discussions with third parties, may not be used or reported without the written permission of the source of information.


5. Articles published in science are appropriate or relevant to the field of science of the Cita Ekonomika Journal, namely the field of economics.


6. Published articles do not cause clashes with certain parties or have the potential to upset the public.
The writers listed in the published articles are really competent and have a significant contribution in writing the article.


7. The author does not double-publish this article to be published (double manuscript submission) to a journal or other publication facility at the same time.


8. Part of the whole article that is published has never been published in other publications.


9. Published articles are original (original) research results, ideas, or thoughts of the author and are free from plagiarism.


10. When the author finds significant errors or inaccuracies in his published work, it is the author's responsibility to immediately notify the journal editor, as well as work with the editor to retract or correct the writing.

11. If the editor obtains information from a third party that a published work contains significant errors, the author is responsible for immediately withdrawing or making corrections to the writing or providing evidence to the editor regarding the accuracy of the original writing.
