Article Processing Charges & Fees

MATAI: International Journal of Language Education is committed to the widest possible dissemination of research. The journal's fee policy is fully transparent:

Submission Fee	Free of charge (IDR 0). There is no charge for submitting a manuscript to this journal.
Article Processing Charge (APC)	For manuscripts accepted for publication, a publication fee of up to USD 30 applies (effective from the end of 2024). This fee covers DOI registration for the article, similarity (plagiarism) checking, and final editing and layout of the published article.
Discounts & Waivers	Partnership discounts are available for authors from institutions that have a cooperation agreement with the journal. Authors who are unable to pay the fee may contact the editorial office to request a waiver; decisions are made on a case-by-case basis and never affect the editorial decision on the manuscript.

Fees are only requested after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication. The peer review and editorial decision process is completely independent of an author's ability to pay.

All articles are published as open access under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0); readers can access the full text of every article free of charge.
