DESAIN KEMASAN IKAN ASAR BAGI INDUSTRI KECIL DI DESA GALALA DAN HATIVE KECIL
Abstract
ikan asar hasil produksi dari usaha-usaha local di desa Galala dan Hative Kecil, dikemas secara tradisional yang rentan pada kontaminasi debu, kotoran atau mikroorganisme dari udara. Kemasan ini cenderung menjadi salah satu penyebab rendahnya daya tahan produk dan tidaktahuan konsumen akan produk ini sebelum membelinya. Artikel ini menyajikan hasil rancangan kemasan ikan asar yang bukan saja berfungsi melindungi produk tetapi juga memenuhi keinginan konsumennya. Prototype kemasan yang dirancang berbahan plastik (tebal 0,6 dan 0,8 mm), hanya satu lapis, kapasitas tampung maksimum 2 dan 4 belah ikan asar, menggunakan stiker untuk informasi produk, kombinasi warna menarik pada stiker, protektif (debu, kotoran, mikroorganisme, air dan gas) dibawah suhu 60oC, harga terjangkau bagi penjual dan bahan mudah diperoleh.
