TRITON: Jurnal Manajemen Sumberdaya Perairan is published by the Department of Aquatic Resources Management, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Pattimura University, in collaboration with the Himpunan Ahli Pengelolaan Pesisir Indonesia (HAPPI). This organization was founded on December 15, 2004 in Jakarta. HAPPI is a non-profit organization and independent which has the competence to certify coastal management and is familial. The function of HAPPI is as a professional organization which is a forum for experts and observers of coastal management, to jointly contribute advices for national development, and the improvement of science, technology, social, economy and culture optimally, effectively and efficiently. Branch managers of HAPPI are located in several cities in Indonesia, including Ambon City, Maluku Province. Various activities have been carried out by HAPPI, such as training and certification of integrated coastal management expertise, as well as national seminars/symposiums (MoU HAPPI).
