Focus and Scope
TRITON: Jurnal Manajemen Sumberdaya Perairan is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to disseminating high-quality research and comprehensive review articles on the sustainable management of aquatic systems. The journal provides an international platform for scientists, policymakers, and practitioners to share insights that bridge science, policy, and practice in aquatic environments.
The journal's scope encompasses, but is not limited to, the following key areas:
- Aquatic Resource Management: Sustainable exploitation, conservation, and aquaculture practices for fisheries and other living aquatic resources.
- Aquatic and Coastal Zone Management: Integrated management strategies for coastal, marine, and small island ecosystems, including spatial planning and marine protected areas.
- Aquatic Environmental Management: Assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of impacts on aquatic ecosystems, including habitat restoration and biodiversity conservation.
- Water Quality and Pollution Control: Studies on pollutant dynamics, eutrophication, plastic pollution, and innovative technologies for water quality preservation and pollution abatement in freshwater, estuarine, and marine environments.
- Socio-Economic and Cultural Dimensions: Socio-economic studies, economic valuation of ecosystem services, livelihood analysis, and the role of socio-cultural institutions in coastal and aquatic community development.
- Policy, Governance, and Planning: Analysis of legal frameworks, institutional arrangements, and development policies related to the planning and governance of aquatic, coastal, and marine regions.
TRITON welcomes original research articles, review papers, and short communications that present novel findings and contribute significantly to the advancement of knowledge in these fields. All manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
