By submitting a manuscript to TRITON: Jurnal Manajemen Sumberdaya Perairan, the author(s) agree to the following terms regarding copyright and licensing. No separate document sign-off is required; submission constitutes acceptance of this policy.

For the license mentioned above, authors retain the copyright to their work, but grant publishing rights to the journal under the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license terms.

1. Licensing Terms

All articles published in TRITON are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) license.

This license allows anyone to:

  • Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
  • Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material.

Under the following terms:

  • Attribution — You must give appropriate credit to the original work, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.

2. Author's Warranties

The author(s) warrant that the submitted manuscript is:

  • An original work and has not been published previously.
  • Free from any unlawful statements or claims.
  • Not infringing upon any third-party intellectual property rights, including copyright.
  • That any permissions to reproduce copyrighted material from other sources have been secured by the author(s).

3. Rights Retained by Authors

Authors retain significant rights to their work, including the right to:

  • Copyright ownership of the article
  • The right to use the substance of the article in future own works (lectures, books, presentations)
  • The right to reproduce the article for own educational and research purposes
  • The right to self-archive the article in institutional repositories and personal websites

4. Rights Granted to the Journal

By submitting the article, authors grant TRITON the right to:

  • Publish the article under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license
  • Make the article publicly available without charge
  • Enforce the license terms on behalf of the authors

5. Co-Authorship Agreement

The corresponding author, by submitting the manuscript, warrants that they have obtained the full consent of all co-authors to enter into this agreement on their behalf. They are responsible for informing all co-authors of the terms of this policy. The journal will not be held responsible for any disputes among the authors and will communicate solely with the designated corresponding author.

6. Royalties and Fees

As an open access journal that provides free access to its content, the journal does not charge readers or institutions for access. Consequently, the author(s) are not entitled to any royalties or other fees from the journal.

7. Publication Agreement

TRITON is authorized to publish the article if it successfully completes the editorial and peer-review process. The journal reserves the right to make necessary formatting edits to the manuscript to conform to its publication style. The author(s) acknowledge that the article will be published for public access free of charge and that the journal may sublicense the rights granted under this agreement.
