GEOFORUM: Journal of Geography and Geography Education (Online ISSN 2830-6899) is an open-access journal, established for the dissemination of current knowledge and as a medium of scientific information and communication in the development and professionalism that contributes to the expansion of knowledge in the field of Geography and Geography Education. This journal is published twice a year (July and December) by the Geography Education Study Program, Department of Social Sciences, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Pattimura Ambon, Maluku, Indonesia. Its aim is to serve as a journal for publishing original articles on the latest issues and trends to develop concepts and relevant theoretical studies in Geography, particularly through the application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing techniques for spatial analysis, curriculum, instruction, learning, policy, and teacher preparation, with the goal of advancing our understanding of education theory and practice in relation to the field of geography. Additionally, this journal also covers issues related to environmental education. |

All submitted manuscripts will undergo an initial review by editors, must make a significant contribution to the field, be relevant to the journal's scope, and then be evaluated by at least two reviewers through an anonymous double-blind review process. This is done to ensure the quality of the published manuscripts in the journal. |
