Author Guidelines

The author must send the manuscript online by first registering as an author on the website https://ojs3.unpatti.ac.id/index.php/barekeng/

For every submitted article, the author is obliged to follow the terms and conditions in accordance with Style Guide of BAREKENG : Journal of Mathematics and Its Applications. (Journal template can be downloaded on the web)

INSTRUCTIONS FOR  AUTHORS OF BAREKENG : JOURNAL OF MATHEMATICS AND ITS APPLICATIONS.

  1. The manuscript submitted by the author is an original scientific paper that has never been published before and is not being submitted for publication in  any other media/journals
  2. The manuscript proposed may be the results of a study (field/literature), conceptual ideas, studies, application of theories, and criticism in Pure Mathematics (analysis, algebra & number theory), Applied Mathematics (Fuzzy, Artificial Neural Networks, Mathematics Modelling & Simulation, Control & Optimization, Ethno-mathematics, etc.), Statistics, Actuary, Logic, Geometry & Topology, Numerical Analysis, and Mathematic Computation.
  3. The manuscript is typed using Microsoft Word with a white background and paper size A4 (210 mm x 297 mm).
  4. Manuscripts are written in English. The manuscript is written in Times New Roman font, size 11, with single spacing and one column
  5. The manuscript begins with an abstract of 150-200 words written in English.
  6. The abstract is typed slanted (Italic Font Style) with a font size of 10. Title, abstract, and keywords are all written in English.
  7. Abstracts should clearly indicate the background of the problems, objectives, theories and methods, findings or novelty of ideas, and main conclusions.
  8. The author's name is written without academic degrees. If a manuscript is written by a team or more than one person, the editor will communicate only with the main author or corresponding author.
  9. Scripts are organized into five subheadings in the following order:
    (a) Introduction: includes problem identification, literature review, research objectives, as well as the benefits of the research,
    (b) Research Method: consists of the way the research is done and a description of the material, equipment, and procedures used in conducting the analysis or research,
    (c) Results and Discussion: describes the results of research or analysis and can be presented in sub-chapters,
    (d) Conclusion: written in the form of a summary and if necessary,  each paragraph containing conclusions of the research can be given serial numbers.
    (e) Bibliography: Bibliography arranged numerically that refers to the IEEE Style of Citation.
  10. The manuscript is written in English in 8-18 pages. BAREKENG: Journal of Mathematics and Its Applications fee only covers 18 pages, if there are more than 18 pages, authors will be charged an extra fee for every additional page. 
  11. Sources of references/citations listed in the script are the primary reference sources in the form of research reports or articles published in the scientific journal/magazine in the last 10 years.
  12. The technicality of writing citations uses the enclosed reference technique of IEEE citation style.
  13. The article Format has met the Style Guide of BAREKENG: Journal of Mathematics and Its Applications.
  14. The article does not contain the results of plagiarism, falsification, and fabrication of data. And also is not published in any media and is not being submitted to other journals

  16. Please consider using Mendeley or Zotero citation management software with the BAREKENG : Journal of Mathematics and Its Applications template to ensure the citation and references  are well-managed
