BAREKENG: Journal of Mathematics and Its Applications has demonstrated substantial progress in strengthening its academic quality, publication standards, and international visibility. The journal was nationally accredited at Rank 3 (SINTA 3) for the period 2017–2021, followed by an advancement to Rank 2 (SINTA 2) for 2021–2024. Its development reached an important international milestone when BAREKENG was first accepted for indexing in Scopus on 7 December 2024. At the beginning of its Scopus indexing period, the journal recorded an H-index of 5 and an SJR of 0.183. Following the 2025 evaluation period, the journal’s citation performance and international standing continued to improve. As of April 2026, BAREKENG’s H-index had increased to 7, while its SJR had risen to 0.23. These achievements reflect the journal’s sustained efforts to enhance editorial quality, scholarly impact, international recognition, and its contribution to the global mathematics and applied mathematics research community.
