Abstract

Pengelolaan sampah perkotaan adalah aspek yang tidak dapat dihindari dalam upaya untuk menjaga dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup di kota-kota di seluruh dunia. Penelitian ini mengkaji berbagai aspek pengelolaan sampah perkotaan dengan mengadopsi metode penelitian literatur. Dalam konteks pengelolaan sampah perkotaan, ini bukan hanya masalah lokal, tetapi juga memiliki dampak signifikan pada lingkungan, kesehatan masyarakat, dan keberlanjutan kota-kota di masa depan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan sampah perkotaan adalah isu penting dan kompleks yang dihadapi oleh banyak kota di seluruh dunia. Tantangan-tantangan yang terlibat memerlukan solusi berkelanjutan untuk memastikan keberlanjutan kota-kota di masa depan. Salah satu langkah kunci dalam mengatasi tantangan ini adalah meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya pengelolaan sampah yang benar. Dengan pendidikan dan kampanye yang tepat, masyarakat dapat lebih memahami dan menghargai praktik pengelolaan sampah yang berkelanjutan seperti pemilahan sampah, daur ulang, dan pengurangan sampah. Dengan mengembangkan infrastruktur yang sesuai dan menerapkan solusi inovatif, kota-kota dapat mengurangi dampak negatif dari pengelolaan sampah.
