Barekeng Journal for March 2015 Edition (Vol. 9 No. 1) has used a new format of writing which includes titles and abstracts in English and Indonesian, the contents of the writing (from Introduction, methods, results & discussion, and conclusions) have used the format writing in 1 column, and also the reference management or writing a bibliography according to the IEEE style.

This journal publish articles related to Pure and Applied Mathematics, Pure and Applied Statistics, Actuarial Science, and Mathematic Computation.
The meaning word "Barekeng" is a local term of the Moluccas language which means Counting or Calculating. Counting is a main and fundamental activity in the field of Mathematics. Therefore we tried to promote "Barekeng" as the name of our scientific journal.
