A. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  • The manuscript must be original and has not been published or submitted to another journal.
  • The manuscript must be relevant to the focus and scope of Manis: Jurnal Manajemen dan Bisnis.
  • The manuscript may be written in Indonesian or English using clear, academic, and systematic language.
  • The manuscript must follow the official journal template provided by the editorial team.
  • The manuscript should present clear research problems, appropriate methods, relevant analysis, and meaningful conclusions.
  • The author is responsible for the accuracy of the content, citations, references, data, and ethical compliance.

B. MANUSCRIPT SCOPE

Manis: Jurnal Manajemen dan Bisnis accepts original research articles in the fields of management and business. The scope includes, but is not limited to:

Human Resource Management Marketing Management Production and Operations Management Financial Management Accounting Management Business Studies

C. MANUSCRIPT STRUCTURE

The manuscript should generally contain the following sections:

Title

The title must be concise, informative, and reflect the main topic of the study.

Author Identity

Include author name, affiliation, institutional address, and corresponding author email.

Abstract

The abstract should summarize the background, purpose, method, main findings, and conclusion of the study.

Keywords

Provide relevant keywords that represent the topic, variables, method, or field of the study.

Introduction

Explain the background, research gap, problem statement, objectives, and contribution of the study.

Method

Describe the research design, population or sample, data sources, instruments, procedures, and analysis techniques.

Results and Discussion

Present research findings clearly and discuss them in relation to previous studies, theory, and practical implications.

Conclusion

Summarize the main findings, implications, limitations, and suggestions for future research.

References

All references cited in the manuscript must be listed in the reference section according to the journal template.

D. FORMATTING GUIDELINES

  • The manuscript must be prepared using the official journal template.
  • The title, author identity, abstract, keywords, main text, tables, figures, and references must follow the template format.
  • Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively and referred to in the text.
  • Figures must be clear and readable, with appropriate captions.
  • Mathematical symbols, abbreviations, and technical terms should be used consistently.
  • Authors must ensure that the manuscript is free from typographical, grammatical, and formatting errors before submission.

E. CITATION AND REFERENCES

  • References must come from relevant and credible sources, such as journal articles, books, conference proceedings, and official documents.
  • Authors are encouraged to use recent references, especially from reputable journals.
  • Every citation in the text must appear in the reference list, and every reference in the list must be cited in the text.
  • Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.
  • The reference style must follow the official manuscript template of the journal.

F. SUBMISSION PREPARATION CHECKLIST

Before submitting a manuscript, authors must ensure that:

  • The manuscript fits the focus and scope of the journal.
  • The manuscript uses the official journal template.
  • The manuscript has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
  • The manuscript has been checked for similarity or plagiarism.
  • All authors have approved the manuscript submission.
  • All citations and references are complete and consistent.
  • Tables, figures, and appendices are properly numbered and cited in the text.
  • The corresponding author has provided an active email address.

G. PUBLICATION ETHICS

Authors must comply with publication ethics. The manuscript must be free from plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate publication, and inappropriate authorship. Any use of data, instruments, or materials involving individuals, organizations, or institutions must follow applicable ethical standards.

H. SUBMISSION PROCESS

Manuscripts must be submitted online through the journal website. Authors must register or log in to the OJS system before submitting their manuscript.
