The editorial team is responsible for maintaining the academic quality of the journal by evaluating manuscripts based on originality, relevance, methodological soundness, clarity of presentation, contribution to knowledge, and compliance with the journal’s author guidelines and publication ethics.
Editorial Commitment: The journal ensures that editorial decisions are made based on academic merit, not on the authors’ background, institutional affiliation, nationality, gender, religion, political belief, or other non-academic considerations.
All submitted manuscripts are first evaluated by the editorial team to determine their suitability with the focus and scope of the journal. Manuscripts that are not relevant to the fields of management and business may be rejected before the peer review process.
The manuscript must be relevant to management, business, human resource management, marketing, operations, finance, accounting, or related fields.
The manuscript must follow the journal template, including structure, formatting, citation style, tables, figures, and references.
The manuscript must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal or publication venue.
The manuscript must comply with publication ethics and must be free from plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, and data falsification.
Editorial decisions are made by the editor based on the results of initial screening, reviewers’ recommendations, manuscript quality, ethical considerations, and relevance to the journal’s focus and scope.
The editor has the authority to accept, request revision, ask for resubmission, or reject a manuscript. The final decision is made objectively and is based on the academic quality and contribution of the manuscript.

Manis: Jurnal Manajemen dan Bisnis applies a double-blind peer review process. The identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential during the review process.
Every manuscript that passes the initial editorial screening will be reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, novelty, methodology, analysis, contribution, clarity, conclusion, and references.

Editors and reviewers must avoid handling manuscripts where there is a conflict of interest. A conflict of interest may arise from financial, institutional, collaborative, personal, professional, or academic relationships that may influence editorial judgment or review objectivity.
Authors are also required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may influence the research process, interpretation of findings, or publication of the manuscript.
All submitted manuscripts must be original and free from plagiarism. The editorial team may use plagiarism detection software to check manuscript similarity.
Manuscripts with indications of plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, data falsification, citation manipulation, or other forms of publication misconduct may be rejected at any stage of the editorial process.
Similarity Policy: Manuscripts should have a similarity index of less than 20% and must not contain improper citation, plagiarism, or unethical reuse of previous publications.
The journal may issue corrections, expressions of concern, retractions, or other editorial notices when errors, ethical violations, or publication misconduct are identified in submitted or published articles.
Authors may request manuscript withdrawal before publication by providing a clear reason to the editor. Withdrawal after the editorial or review process has begun must be accompanied by a valid explanation and is subject to editorial approval.
